About Us

As the founder of Mercury Models, I am obsessed with valuation modeling. I first discovered Calcutta pools many years back, and have been hooked ever since. I recognized that by applying my valuation and modeling skills, I could gain an edge over the competition. My first model was a rather crude, simple affair, but it performed quite well – my appetite was whetted. Over the years, the model has become increasingly complex (yet refined!) as we continually analyze what works and what doesn’t. The NCAA Mercury Model is the result of these years of refining and we thought it was time to share it with other Calcutta enthusiasts.
